The social critic recalled that last year alone, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) went on strike for over eight months, while millions of Nigerian students stayed at home doing nothing.    This year again, the ASUU had started another round of indefinite strikes, thus ruining and jeopardising the future education of our youths.    The ASUU has said if the government could release N200b to the universities, its members would go back to the classrooms immediately to begin lectures.    Onitiri asked: “How much is N200b to the government that could earmark N4tr for oil subsidy? UMARU MASU YAR'ADUA UNIVERSITY (UMYU)

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission as first choice candidates into the university through the year 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application; and who had either missed the first aptitude test/screening exercise or changed their first choice institution to UMYU, to register for aptitude test/screening via the Post UTME Portal.      Candidates who applied through the UTME must have scored 130 (or above) JAMB points. UMYU 2nd invitation for screening for UTME & Direct Entry (DE) candidates, 2022/2023 Please note that only candidates listed on the mentioned website are to register.
